An Hongyu, Associate Professor

Profile:
An Hongyu, Doctor of Engineering, External Affairs Specialist (Vice President), Associate Professor, Young PI of Runyuan, Shenzhen Overseas High-level Peacock Plan (Category C), Guangdong High-level Talent Assessment Expert, Member of the Youth Committee of Guangdong Materials Research Society. He graduated from RAL State Key Laboratory of Northeastern University in 2010 and studied under academician Wang Guodong. After graduation, he went to Japan to work for one of the world's top 500 companies, JGC Corp. In 2012, he entered Tokyo Institute of Technology and received his doctorate in 2015. He then joined Keio University in Japan to conduct research, and successively served as a researcher and special researcher for foreigners of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, before returning to Shenzhen Technology University in 2019. His main research interests include magnetic nanofilms, novel magnetic storage materials, and spintronic materials and devices. In the past five years, he has published nearly 30 papers in Nature Communications, Science Advances, Physical Review Letters, Physical Review Applied, Physical Review B, and other important journals in the field, and has filed one Japanese patent. His research achievements have been covered by NHK TV, Nikkan Kogyo newspaper, and Japan Chemical Industry Daily. He is currently a reviewer for many journals, including Nature Electronics and Nature Communications.
