Work Plan for the Special Action of the Leadership Team of the School of New Materials and New Energy to Visit Enterprises, Expand Jobs and Promote Employment

In order to thoroughly implement the decisions and deployments of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on the employment of college graduates, and in accordance with the requirements of the "Notice of the Ministry of Education on Doing a Good Job in the Employment and Entrepreneurship Work of the 2024 National Ordinary College Graduates" (Education and Employment [2023] No. 4) and the "Special Action Plan for Visiting Enterprises and Expanding Jobs by the Secretary and President of Shenzhen University of Technology" (Shenzhen University of Technology [2022] No. 15) and other relevant documents, this plan is specially formulated to do a good job in the special action of our hospital's leadership team's visits to enterprises and expanding jobs to promote employment (hereinafter referred to as the special action).

3、Participants

Dean of the college, Secretary of the Party branch, leader in charge of school enterprise cooperation, leader in charge of student affairs, and other relevant personnel for graduates.

4、Work objectives

By carrying out special actions, we will deepen the implementation of the "top leader" project for the employment of college graduates, fully leverage the important exemplary role of the college leadership team in taking the lead in doing a good job in the employment of graduates, promote the participation of all faculty and staff in the employment work, and form a situation where leaders take the lead and all staff focus on employment; Comprehensively deepen school enterprise cooperation and supply and demand docking, open up more employment and entrepreneurial positions and opportunities for graduates, explore the construction of a market-oriented and socialized employment mechanism for our college graduates, and promote more comprehensive and high-quality employment for graduates.

5、Action content

(1)Vigorously exploring employment channels and job resources

Based on the needs of Shenzhen's regional economic and industrial development, fully mobilize resources in teaching, scientific research, and other aspects, actively enter key enterprises, key industry associations, chambers of commerce, industrial parks, etc. in Shenzhen, deeply understand the talent needs of enterprises, and expand employment channels and positions for graduates.

The leadership team of the college shall visit no less than 10 employers, among which the college's visit activities invite contact with school leaders to lead a team to visit no less than 3. The specific visiting units include but are not limited to friendly cooperative units such as Shenzhen Hewang Electric Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Jiejiawei Innovation Energy Equipment Co., Ltd., and other newly expanded units. At the same time, the college will mobilize and encourage faculty and staff to participate in enterprise visits, expand the coverage of visits, and promote the employment and education of all employees.

(2)Continuously deepening communication and interaction among cooperative enterprises

The college focuses on the characteristics of its disciplinary and professional construction, combined with campus enterprise cooperation, talent cultivation and delivery, employment internship practice base construction, and deep integration of industry, academia, and research. We invite key enterprises in the province, as well as key industry associations, chambers of commerce, and industrial parks in Shenzhen, to come to the school for negotiation, discussion, and recruitment activities. Currently, our college has signed various award and scholarship agreements, student activity sponsorship agreements, targeted internships, and recruitment agreements with friendly cooperative enterprises such as Shenzhen Hewang Electric Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Xinneng Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., Xinfengguang Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., TCL Huaxing Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Jiejiawei Innovation Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. In 2024, the college will continue to promote and Developing various "enterprise to campus" school enterprise cooperation models to help graduates understand the dynamics of industry development, form a good employment outlook, and fully implement graduate employment work.

(3)Conduct in-depth social demand surveys

Adhering to the principle of employment orientation and serving social needs, with visiting special actions and daily campus recruitment activities as the entry point, we carefully analyze the industry development trends and talent demand situation, deeply understand the knowledge structure, professional abilities, and comprehensive quality requirements of employers for our graduates, compare and search for the shortcomings of the college in subject and major settings, talent cultivation, and employment services, fully listen to and absorb the opinions and suggestions of employers, and provide strong basis for the college's professional adjustment, talent cultivation plan revision, enrollment plan adjustment, and precise employment guidance services. Our college plans to establish various cooperation methods, including scholarship awards, internship positions, targeted course training, corporate student activity sponsorship, etc. At the same time, our college plans to further improve and explore new school enterprise cooperation methods in combination with the college's disciplinary and professional settings, graduate employment needs, and employer recruitment intentions.

(4)Conduct a survey on the employment situation of graduates

Through visits, gain a deeper understanding of the work, life, and career development of graduates, demonstrate the school's care for graduates, and enhance their confidence in their positions, hard work, and career achievements; Our college plans to establish a graduate exchange forum for the 2024 undergraduate students, to exchange and interact with them on topics, and hold symposiums to listen to their opinions and suggestions on the school's talent training program, continuously improve the quality of talent training, and improve the ways and methods of employment services; Carefully listen to students' opinions on campus recruitment activities, their feelings about the use of the school's employment guidance center website and the Guangdong Province Student Employment and Entrepreneurship Smart Service Platform, and continuously improve the level of campus recruitment services; Gain a deeper understanding of the satisfaction of enterprises with graduates, especially in terms of ideological and moral character, professional competence, and other aspects of feedback, in order to promote the deepening of education and teaching reform in schools, improve the quality of talent cultivation, and enhance the employment competitiveness of graduates.

(5)Actively creating a good employment atmosphere

During the visit, we need to deeply explore the advanced models of graduates' employment. Our college plans to carry out various publicity activities for advanced figures in employment destination in various forms, such as the college's offline good news display wall, official account tweets, and official website good news release, so as to give play to the role of typical demonstration and guidance, and guide students to make achievements in all walks of life, in places where the motherland and the people most need them. Interpret employment policies in various regions around the major development needs of the country, province, and city, and guide graduates to find employment in key areas. At the same time, our college will adopt a "one-on-one" assistance strategy to effectively assist in promoting the employment of graduates. The specific method is to set up employment guidance teachers for each graduate, including graduating class teachers, counselors, and graduation guidance teachers. Based on this, the college plans to invite outstanding graduates to return to campus for alumni sharing meetings in 2024's employment work, to share their work experiences and feelings with classmates, and to introduce alumni employment resources led by graduates.

6、Job requirements

The college level special action is formulated and implemented under the leadership of the college graduate employment work leadership group, strengthening the main responsibility of graduate employment work, refining the implementation plan of the special action, assigning tasks to individuals, regularly reporting progress to the school leadership, layer by layer consolidating responsibility, ensuring that the work deployment is in place, the action is implemented effectively, and the goal is to achieve practical results. The special action adheres to the combination of "going out" and "inviting in". The visit action focuses on the city of Shenzhen, actively strengthens exchanges and visits with enterprises, builds a broader employment platform for graduates, promotes school enterprise cooperation, and jointly promotes the in-depth development of graduate employment work.
