Teachers and students of new energy science and engineering of our institute visited Jiejiawei Innovative Energy Equipment Company for learning and exchange

On Saturday, November 6, 2021, teachers and students of the 2019 and 2021 classes of new energy majors of the College of New Materials and New Energy visited Shenzhen Jiejiawei Innovative Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. for exchange and learning.

Shenzhen Jiejiawei Innovative Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. is a rapidly developing R & D and manufacturing enterprise of new energy equipment. In 2003, the predecessor of the company was founded in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, after years of rapid development, the company successfully listed on the GEM in 2018. The company has built more than 60,000 square meters of industrial park in Pingshan District, Shenzhen City, and more than 30,000 square meters of industrial park in Xinbei District, Changzhou City, with a total number of employees of more than 2,500 people. Since its establishment, Jiejia Weichuang has provided equipment and services for more than 200 photovoltaic cell manufacturers and nearly 1500 cell production lines around the world, of which the market share of various types of process equipment exceeds 50%, becoming the world's leading supplier of crystalline silicon solar cell equipment.

First of all, technical personnel of the company led teachers and students of Shenzhen Technology University to visit the enterprise exhibition hall, introducing to us the development history of the enterprise, the core products of the enterprise, and the development path and the brilliant achievements.


Next, the students put on clean clothes, put on protective hats and foot covers, and passed through the air shower room to the equipment assembly workshop. The factory implements lean management, the workshop is clean and bright, the various functional partitions are clear, the equipment is running in an orderly manner, and the workers are working hard in different jobs. The enterprise technician introduced the equipment in the factory to the students one by one, including the large diffusion furnace, PECVD, and intelligent equipment trolley, etc., and he gave a clear explanation from the principle and practical use from the shallow to the deep. We took a close look at the graphite insert boat in the high temperature furnace tube, understood the arrangement of the heating resistance in the furnace tube, how the silicon wafer was flipped on the automatic conveyor belt, how the wafer transfer path was bent, how the broken piece was automatically removed, and also observed how the automatic robot arm accurately inserted dozens of silicon wafers into the graphite boat... Through field practice, students can better appreciate how different types of equipment can achieve different solar cell processes, which is conducive to our better understanding of textbook knowledge and more effective learning of professional knowledge.

Finally, under the guidance of the staff, the students climbed to the top of the factory building to visit the crystalline silicon solar photovoltaic power station. The total installed capacity of the power station exceeds 500KWp, and since the completion of construction in 2019, it has generated more than 1 million kWh of electricity. The students carefully observed the foundation of the power station, studied how the photovoltaic panels are connected, grounded lightning protection facilities, etc. Today's exchange visit is very exciting, but also benefit everyone a lot!
