Minor Program Receiving Majors and Numbers Summary

1. Eligibility

Ordinary full-time undergraduate students who have enough energy to study and have passed the required courses and have not been punished (except for college promotion) can apply for a minor in another major according to their own interests while studying the major.

Students are only allowed to apply for one major as a minor during their stay in school. The major code selected by the student must be different from the major major code of the student.

2. Application procedures for minors

According to the relevant regulations of the "Regulations on the Administration of Student Status of General Higher Education Undergraduate Students of Shenzhen University of Technology (Trial)", students can apply to both colleges in the second semester of their freshman year. The college where the student is located shall review the student's application qualifications; the college where the minor major applied for shall review the student's qualifications according to the situation of the college, and after publicizing the student's qualifications, submit the reviewed and approved student list to the Academic Affairs Department for the record.

3. Precautions for minor study

Students who have completed the credits specified in the training plan of the major major and completed the courses specified in the training plan of the minor major during their stay in school can obtain the corresponding credits, and can apply to the college where the minor major is located. . The minor certificate only proves that the student has completed another major program in addition to the major, but does not prove academic qualifications and no degree.

Students who have obtained the qualification for minor study should take courses in accordance with the minor study requirements of the "Regulations on the Management of Undergraduate Students in General Higher Education of Shenzhen University of Technology (Trial)" and the minor training plan of the corresponding major, and pay fees according to relevant regulations.

If a student who has obtained the qualification has two or more compulsory courses (including the compulsory courses in the minor training plan) unqualified or punished by the school, his qualification will be cancelled.

4. Work Arrangement

(1) College

1. On June 7, the college maintained the setting of minor majors in the educational administration system, and announced the work arrangement of minor majors on the college website.

2. At 17:00 on June 14-15, the college where the student is located will complete the qualification examination.

3. Before 10:00 on June 16, the college where the student is located will submit the application form for the minor major to the Academic Affairs Department; in the afternoon, the college will collect the application form from the Academic Affairs Department.

4. From June 17th to 24th, the college organizes and arranges the admission and acceptance of minor majors, and completes the publicity of the acceptance results on the college website (publication period is 3 days).

(2) Students

1. Application time and registration method: June 8 to June 13 at 17:00. Students should submit the "Shenzhen University of Technology Application Form for Undergraduate Minor Majors" to their colleges (see attachment, please log in to the Academic Affairs System to check the best grades for GPA information), and register online in the Academic Affairs System. Late applications will not be accepted by the college.

2. Students of our college need to submit the application form (in duplicate) to Mr. Zhang Zhang in B2-916 of the New Materials and New Energy College Building, and scan this QR code to fill in the summary information.

3. Instructions for the registration of the educational administration system: Students log in to the educational administration system, and can view the training plans and acceptance plans of minor majors of each college in "My Desktop" - "Document Management". Register for minors in the menu of "Cultivation Management" - "Auxiliary Dual Management" - "Auxiliary Dual Registration" menu.

4. Check online the acceptance result of the college where the minor major is applied for.
