Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Crystal Growth and Detection (preparing) is based on the School of New Materials and New Energy of Shenzhen University of Technology and based on the university-level science and technology innovation center. The laboratory is committed to the research and technology development of the third generation of semiconductors, gem materials, superhard materials, laser materials, etc., and strives to achieve breakthroughs in key technology fields and "overtaking" for foreign countries, contributing to the rapid development of Shenzhen University of Technology, the construction of Shenzhen greater bay area innovation center and the construction of socialist pilot demonstration zone with Chinese characteristics.
