MC ² Bar is a corner established by the Solar Energy Group of the School of New Materials and New Energy to achieve the full utilization of solar energy systems, integrating scientific research, experimentation, and student activities. Its uniqueness lies in its core being a thin film solar power generation system. This small bar full of engineering romance has achieved full solar power supply, zero energy consumption, and intelligent control.
The total installed capacity of the project is 5.35kW, and three new types of thin film solar cells are used, including: black opaque solar panels, 40% transparent blue solar panels, and 40% transparent solar panels engraved with the logo of Shenzhen University of Technology. The entire system includes photovoltaic panels, off grid inverters (4kW, 5kW), energy storage batteries, meteorological monitors, and distribution boxes. At the same time, LED light strips, projectors, smart speakers, refrigerators, etc. are also equipped on the load side.
MC ² Bar can achieve intelligent control of solar power generation, charging, and consumption. In short, during the day, solar energy supplies power to the load, and excess electricity is stored in the battery; At night, the solar panels do not work, and the fully charged battery begins to supply power to the load; When the solar energy or battery power is insufficient, the system switches to the grid for power supply.
