Zhai Jianpang, Doctor, Professor. He has long been engaged in research and teaching on crystal growth of LED substrates, crystal growth of aluminum phosphate zeolites, assembly and characterization of carbon nanotubes, and low-dimensional quantum-structured materials and their optical properties. He has been selected as one of the seventh group of "Thousand-Hundred -Ten Project" of the higher education institutions in Guangdong Province, an outstanding worker in Zhongshan City and a "Liyuan Excellent Youth" of Shenzhen University. He has been selected as one of the seventh group of "Thousand-Hundred -Ten Project" of the higher education institutions in Guangdong Province, an outstanding worker in Zhongshan City and a "Liyuan Excellent Youth" of Shenzhen University. He published over 60 SCI and EI papers in major Chinese and international journals including Phys. Rev. Lett, Chem. Mater, Appl. Phys. Lett, J. Phys. Chem. B, J. Phys. Chem. C, Nanotechnology, Carbon, CrystEngComm, Micropor, Mesopor, Mater and so on. He is the applicant of 20 national invention patents and utility model patents. The project of "LED-grade sapphire crystal growth" has passed the technical evaluation of the experts and has achieved the industrialization. He has been in charge of the National Natural Science Foundation of China project, the key project of comprehensive strategic cooperation of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Guangdong Province, Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Small and Medium Enterprises Technology Innovation Special Fund projects, Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation Doctoral Start-up Fund, State Key Laboratory of Metal Porous Materials Open Fund, Zhongshan City Industrial Development Special Fund Key Project, Zhongshan Science and Technology Enterprise Support Program, Shenzhen Strategic Emerging Industry Development Special Fund, Zhongshan Torch Development Zone Science and Technology Support Special Fund and supporting projects.
