Tang Zeguo, Associate Professor
Profile:
Dr. Tang Zeguo is the head of the School of New Energy Science and Engineering and an associate professor. He received his bachelor's degree from Lanzhou University in 2005, his doctoral degree from the School of Physical Science and Technology of Lanzhou University in 2010, and his doctoral degree from Saitama University in Japan in 2013. He was a postdoctoral researcher and assistant professor at Ritsumeikan University, Japan from April 2013 to February 2016, and a special assistant professor at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, University of Tokyo, Japan from March 2016 to March 2018. From April 2018 to March 2020, he was the director of perovskite technology at Hanergy Thin Film Power Group R&D Center in Chengdu, leading the R&D work of calcium-titanium ore battery projects. In April 2020, he joined the School of New Materials and New Energy of Shenzhen Technology University. He has published more than 40 scientific papers, has been granted 1 international invention patent. He is the principal investigator and participant of many projects funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and Technology (JSPS) and the New Energy Industry and Technology Development Organization (NEDO). He received 1 national scholarship from Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, 1 best poster award from EUPVSEC 2015, 1 Weily Prize from AP-HOPV 2018, and Bronze Award for Science and Technology Innovation from Hanergy Thin Film Power Group 2018. He is mainly engaged in the research of silicon heterojunction cells, compound thin film cells, and perovskite solar cells. His research results have been widely reported by media and institutions such as Nikkei Technology, Japan Industry News, and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China.
