Zhou Shuang, Assistant Professor
Profile:
Zhou Shuang, Doctor, is an Assistant Professor in the School of New Materials and New Energy, and a talent of the Shenzhen Overseas High-level Peacock Plan (Category C). She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Tsinghua University in 2011 and her doctorate degree in Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2016, under the supervision of Academician Wang Zhengping and Professor Zhao Ni. From 2016 to 2018, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electronic Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In early 2019, she joined the School of New Materials and New Energy of Shenzhen Technology University as an assistant professor. Her personal research interests mainly include semiconductor materials and devices, flexible semiconductor sensors, and photocatalytic materials and applications. She has participated in many research projects during her doctoral and postdoctoral studies. She is currently in charge of four projects, including the Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Project (RMB 100,000), the Shenzhen Basic Research Project (RMB 300,000), the Shenzhen Technology University High-end Talent Research Fund Project (RMB 2.7 million) and a horizontal project (RMB 300,000). She has published more than 30 SCI papers as first author and co-author, with a total of over 1700 citations and an H-index of 23.
