On January 9, 2025, Li Ruiyu, general manager of Hydrogen New Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. was officially appointed as part-time professor of our institute, and Vice President Zhang Wang presented the appointment certificate to Mr.Li Ruiyu.

Dr. Li Ruiyu graduated from RWTH Aachen University in Germany and has been dedicated to the research and industrialization of miniaturized energy devices for many years, accumulating rich experience and outstanding achievements. He has participated in major national deep space exploration projects and worked on the development and industrialization of miniaturized high-temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cells at RWTH Aachen University and the Helmholtz Center for Energy Research in Germany. Currently, he is fully committed to industrialization at Hydrogen New Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., driving the industrialization process of miniaturized high-temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cells and contributing to the advancement of energy technology.

After the hiring ceremony, Dr. Li Ruiyu delivered an engaging lecture titled "Miniaturization Technology and Industrialization of High-Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells" to our faculty and students. Dr. Li shared valuable experiences and significant achievements in the industrialization of hydrogen technology, delving into the broad application prospects of high-temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cells as a forward-looking technology, particularly in emerging fields such as low-altitude economy. As the demonstration applications of hydrogen continue to advance, this technology is expected to bring more market opportunities.

At the end of the lecture, Vice President Zhang Wang, Associate Professor Hu Yunfei and Associate Professor Lin Liyu all said that they benefited a lot from the lecture, which deepened their understanding of high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell technology and clarified the future direction of scientific research cooperation between the two sides, and they will work together to promote the innovative development of new energy industry.
