Qiu Mingxia, Associate Professor

 

Profile:

Qiu Mingxia, Doctor of Engineering, Associate Professor, winner of Shenzhen High-level Leading Talents (local reserve level). In 2005, under the supervision of Prof. Zhang Zhimin, she graduated from the Shanxi Province Integrated Precision Plastic Forming Engineering Technology Research Center of North University of China. In 2008, under the supervision of Prof. Ye Zhizhen, she graduated from the State Key Laboratory of Silicon Materials, Zhejiang University. Then she joined the Department of Materials and Physics, City University of Hong Kong as Senior Assistant Researcher. In April 2009, she joined the post-doctoral research station of Shenzhen University. From 2012 to March 2017, she worked as an engineer in the Department of Electronics at Southern University of Science and Technology. In April 2017, she was appointed as an associate professor at Shenzhen Technology University. She is mainly engaged in researching semiconductor optoelectronic materials and devices, new magnetic memory thin-film materials and devices. She has more than 30 scientific publications, 15 patent applications and has been a co-author of 3 books. She has participated in and in charge of a number of research programs, including the National 02 Major Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China - Major Research Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China Key Program, the National Key Basic Research "973" Program, the Ministry of Education Industry-University Cooperation Education Program, the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the Shenzhen Technology Research Program, and the China Postdoctoral Fund.
