He Bin, Associate Professor



Biography

HE Bin is now an Associate Professor and the Head of Department of Materials science and Engineering in College of New Materials and New Energies, Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU). He is also the deputy director of the University Engineering Research Center of Crystal Growth and Applications of Guangdong Province. He was recognized as Overseas High-Caliber Personnel in Shenzhen in Feb. 2017. He is engaged in the researches on diamond and related materials, film technology, nanostructure and application, and his research interests include thermal management, photocatalysis, precision cutting tools, lab-grown diamond, 3D printing, ultra-wideband gap semiconductors, etc. He has worked as the PI/Co-I in more than 20 projects. He has published over 30 referred papers, 3 book chapters and 5 Chinese patents granted. He has undertaken undergraduate courses such as Fundamentals of Materials Science, Electrotechnics, Analog Electronic Technology, Semiconductor Physics and Devices, and postgraduate courses such as Crystallography and Thin Film and Surface Engineering Technology.
