Hu Yunfei, Associate Professor
Profile:
Yunfei Hu, Ph.D, Associate Professor, Deputy Director of the Faculty of Renewable Energy Science and Engineering, member of China Renewable Energy Society. Dr.Hu received her Ph.D from South China University of Technology in 2005, under the supervision of Prof. Liu Zhengzhi, Prof. Shen Hui and Academician Wen Lishi. The Ph.D project was carried in the solar energy laboratory of Guangzhou institute of Energy Conversion, CAS, where she has developed the earliest batches of poly-Si thin film solar cells on low cost substrate. After graduation she worked as a post doctor in Sun Yat-Sen University. Afterwards she joined the Norwegian Renewable Energy Corporation (REC) in 2016 and was in charge of the Si based solar cell efficiency out of a fully automated production line. She worked as a Senior Researcher in SINTEF institute of Norway since 2011, where she has led several research projects funded by Norwegian Research Council and North European Research Program. In 2015 she started in Norsun for high efficiency mono-Si R&D. She was external examiner of undergraduate thesis for Process Engineering subject in The Arctic University of Norway (UiT) between 2012 and 2017. She joined the College of New Materials and New Energies at Shenzhen Technology University in end of 2017 and in charge of the laboratory of renewable energy system and smart grid.
