Zhang Wang, Associate Professor

 

Profile:

Zhang Wang, Doctor of Science, University-Enterprise Cooperation Officer (Vice President), Associate Professor. He received his doctorate from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2007, and joined BYD Company Limited in the same year as R&D Manager and Plant Manager in succession. He has extensive experience in epitaxial growth of gallium nitride for light-emitting diodes (LEDs), chip fabrication, new product development, and production management for LED packaging. In 2016, he joined Huizhou Huarui Light Source Technology Co., Ltd. as R&D director, responsible for the R&D of TV backlight modules, developing a variety of high efficiency light bars and quantum dot TV backlights. In 2017, he joined Shenzhen Technology University. He has published more than ten papers and filed more than 20 invention patents at home and abroad, and has has been in charge of and participated in more than ten industry-academia research projects at provincial and municipal levels.
