Su Yaorong, Associate Professor
Profile:
Dr. Su Yaorong, Associate Professor, is one of the talents of the Shenzhen Overseas High-level Peacock Program (Category C). He received his bachelor's degree in polymer materials science and engineering from Wuhan University of Technology in 2004, his master's degree in materials science from Wuhan University of Technology in 2007 under the guidance of Prof. Yu Jiaguo, and his doctorate degree in engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2013 under the guidance of Prof. Xu Jianbin. From May 2013 to April 2014, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong; from May 2014 to October 2015, he worked in Nano and Advanced Materials Institute Limited (Hong Kong) as a senior R&D engineer; from November 2015 to December 2017, he worked as a senior R&D engineer in Acoustic Arc International Limited Hong Kong base and Shenzhen base; in January 2018, he joined the School of New Materials and New Energy of Shenzhen Technology University as an associate professor. His research interests include the construction of photocatalytic materials and energy photocatalysis, the preparation of organic semiconductor materials and low-power devices, and the preparation and application of new perovskite optoelectronic materials. During his doctoral and postdoctoral studies, he has participated in many research projects. He has been in charge of several research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, General Program (RMB 610,000) and the Shenzhen Technology University High-end Talent Research Fund (RMB 2.7 million). He has published more than 20 SCI papers with more than 1800 citations and 15 times of H-index.
