Zhao Zhigang, Associate Professor

 

Profile:

Zhao Zhigang, Doctor of Engineering, Associate Professor, is a backup high-level professional talent in Shenzhen. He received his doctorate degree in optical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in June 2010, and joined Shenzhen University in December 2012 after leaving the postdoctoral mobile station of optical engineering of Shenzhen University, and transferred to Shenzhen Technology University in May 2017. His research focuses on micro-hyperspectral imaging and real-time hyperspectral material classification, and his research interests are in ARM and FPGA-based embedded image data acquisition and processing. He has participated in a number of key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and major instrumentation special projects. He has been in charge of a number of research projects, including special funding and general programs of the China Postdoctoral Fund, doctoral projects of the Ministry of Education, basic research projects of Shenzhen, university-enterprise cooperation projects, and enterprise transversal projects. He has published more than 30 papers in domestic and international academic journals, including 17 as first author or corresponding author; he has been granted more than 15 patents, including 7 as first inventor. He has undertaken 8 undergraduate courses for several classes, including "Analog Electronics Technology", "Digital Electronics Technology", "Embedded System Technology" and "EDA Design", and 3 graduate courses for several classes, including "Verilog Language and Electronic Design Automation". He has organized and guided undergraduate students to win many awards in various discipline competitions, including 3 times of the national first prize and 1 time of the national second prize.
