The Electrochemical Energy Storage Technology Research Center of Shenzhen Technology University is established based on the School of New Materials and New Energy of Shenzhen Technology University and the university-level scientific and technological innovation center. It is committed to cutting-edge scientific research and technological innovation, focusing on the research and development of new battery technologies such as lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, lithium-metal batteries, lithium-sulfur batteries and all-solid-state batteries. The current projects undertaken include: General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, General Program of the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, Characteristic Innovation Project of Ordinary Universities in Guangdong Province, and Research Funding for High-end Talents of Shenzhen Technology University. In response to the latest development plan of the university, the research center closely follows the development needs of the national high-end industry, and is committed to cultivating high-level researchers and high-end applied technical talents with an international perspective, innovative thinking and the spirit of craftsmanship. The goal is to break through the frontier of new electrochemical energy storage science, strengthen the core supporting capacity in the fields of materials and energy that are related to the national economy and people's livelihood, and at the same time establish an important scientific research support platform serving the national and regional development, contributing to promoting scientific and technological innovation and serving social development.
