Prof. Dr.-Ing. Normen Langner is an architectural scientist, an entrepreneur and a researcher in fundamental research and applied sciences. Since 2016, he is professor of building physics, building materials, and sustainability at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS).

His research interests are architectural physics, energy efficiency in buildings and sustainability. He gained practical experience as a department manager at a large general contractor in the construction industry. In addition, he is an expert in teaching and managing in university environments as a lecturer and visiting professor at severaluniversities.
